The Association held a somewhat different Annual River Cruise this year by embarking the Membership and their guests together with a Pilot at Avonmouth.

The opportunity was taken to experience transiting the Avonmouth Lock and passing the approaches to both the Avonmouth & Royal Portbury Docks before entering the River Avon to experience the Avon Gorge and sailing beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Members disembarking after transiting the lock at Cumberland Basin before disembarking alongside “The Pumphouse” a dockside pub for a Fish & Chip Supper to end the evening.
